URBAN PROJECT
Paris
Terrains d'Avenir

Since 2018, taekwondo initiation sessions are offered in humanitarian centers in Paris where refugees seeking asylum are hosted temporarily, firstly in Paris-Nord La Chappelle and Ivry sur Seine, as well as other centers in the Paris region.

THF aims to include refugees in the society.

About This Project

Since 2022, THF action integrates a broader project initiated by Terrains d’Avenir and gathering a variety of sports activities.

THF Action & Goals

This program, co-financed by the Olympic Refuge Foundation (ORF) and the French Ministry of Sports, aims to enable refugees and displaced populations in Île-de-France, to develop a sense of belonging and define a positive life plan, through sport’s practice and job opportunities in that field.

“Terrains d’Avenir” just like THF, promotes the values of Olympism and places sport at the service of humanity. Program will mainly focus on 10 to 24 years old children and youth.
