Supported by THF since January 2025, the program operated by “Ecole Taekwondo Monsoise”, aims at fostering the integration of refugees and asylum seekers through Taekwondo, and is to be seen as a pioneer initiative among the Taekwondo clubs in France.

Program
The program run by the “Ecole Taekwondo Monsoise” is addressing weekly 32 participants, mostly minors, representing 11 countries, as a result of a partnership with ALEFPA du Nord shelter for migrants. A staff of 3 instructors are mobilized to run 1 weekly session for beginners and 3 weekly sessions for advanced participants. The program’s main objective is to promote social inclusion, physical and mental well-being, as well as cultural integration of the participants, creating opportunities for refugees and asylum-seekers to meet club members of the association and participate in the organization of events.
