We are proud to announce that THF and Daedo International have officialised an agreement to partner in development efforts, using taekwondo to help disadvantaged communities. On February 01, both organisations signed a memorandum of understanding, with an objective of enhancing current and future projects run by THF.
Daedo International is a Spanish Martial Arts equipment company which was created in 1983. Since then, it has grown considerably and is now one of the leading producers of Martial Art Gear in the world. The company prides itself in providing martial art practitioners with the highest quality products. Daedo has been the official supplier and sponsor of many international taekwondo events as well as Olympic games and is committed to the development of the sport.
Through this partnership, both parties commit to providing taekwondo and sport equipment to beneficiaries of THF projects as well as sharing information for identifying new potential development programmes within the taekwondo community. Under the terms of the agreement, Daedo will support THF by providing both financial and equipment donations, each completed through separate cash or in-kind contribution agreements. In return, THF will deliver financial as well as detailed project reports, on an annual basis.
Daedo’s support will serve as an invaluable contribution towards THF’s current and future development as the foundation continues to foster ongoing projects as well as plan new ones. The martial art equipment company is already playing its part, having recently provided THF with a very generous financial donation. THF’s latest endeavours include the construction of a new sport facility in THF’s Azraq Academy, expected to be completed in march, as well as the development of a new project in Djibouti.
